Since the book's release in May of 2013, the authors have been
responding to invitations all over the state to bring geology to the public.
In addition to telling the science behind top nature destinations all over the state, there have been
programs on geology's influence on the Civil War, Georgia's gold rush, and the origin of mountain scenery.
If there is an opportunity
for a geology walk, that is part of the program as well. |
